Sant Pere Màrtir era venerat en un altar lateral de l'església parroquial abans de la seva destrucció del 1936.

Puix del sumo Proto-Martir

Foreu gran imitador,

Gloriós Sant Pere Martir

Siau nostre protector.

De pares infiels nasquereu

En Verona gran ciutat,

Pero sempre mantinguereu

Pura la fe al Increat;

Y anant creixen en edad

Foreu la mes pura flor.

En Figueras han format

Los Corders Societat

Per socorrers uns ab altres

En tota necesitat:

Y á vos vos han aclamat

Son Patró y Protector.
